Enactus Utrecht has been active for over 20 years and currently has more than 30 members. Each member voluntarily spends a few hours per week working on their Enactus projects. In addition to working on their enterprises, the board provides monthly workshops and social events. The board also operates on a voluntary basis, dedicating between 12 and 16 hours per week to Enactus, making the growth and longevity of the organisation possible.
Students at Enactus are either committed to an existing social enterprise or set up a new one within the Think Tank. Project teams work independently and receive guidance from the board, alumni, and our extensive partner network within the business community. This gives students the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial mindset and gain practical skills within their roles. Through monthly trainings and workshops, members also acquire the theoretical knowledge of social entrepreneurship and grow into young entrepreneurs. These sessions are usually concluded with informal drinks together.
Over the years, Enactus Utrecht has developed from a small team of students into a large network of members, alumni, and partners working together to achieve the mission and vision of Enactus. Various ventures have been launched and evaluated, and the first Enexits have taken place. Some Enactus companies have proven so successful that they eventually became fully independent.
