Toekies

We are Toekies, a team who is committed to the dreams of refugee children in the Netherlands.

Toekies makes an impact by organizing drawing afternoons at language schools. Due to all the trauma and uncertainties, the children have little or no space in their minds to dream about the future without limits. During these afternoons, the children think about their dreams for the future and translate them into fun drawings. This way, their dreams become tangible.

We then use the creative drawings to produce cheerful, unique socks. Each label features the story of the face behind the sock. This way, you buy and wear a sock with a story—super cool, right?!
By wearing the socks and advertising with the Toekies brand, we ensure that the children’s stories are shared.

All proceeds from the socks are fully reinvested into the children’s future and back into Toekies itself. For example, we organize interactive activities that align with and inspire the children’s dreams.
